Professor Dr. Mohammad Kamil (M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D., D.Sc., Chartered Chemist–UK, Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry–London) is a distinguished researcher and academic in Traditional, Complementary and Integrative Medicine (TCAM), medicinal plants, and natural products with over 50 years of experience. He has served in senior academic and research positions in India and the UAE, including at CCRUM, Hamdard University, Sheikh Zayed Complex for Herbal Research, and the Department of Health, Abu Dhabi. Currently, he is Director General of Lotus Holistic Healthcare Institute, Abu Dhabi. Dr. Kamil has contributed extensively to herbal medicine research and standardization, with over 820 publications, supervision of 34 Ph.D./M.Phil. scholars, and active collaboration with WHO on international standards and traditional medicine initiatives. He has received several prestigious international awards, including the Sheikh Zayed International TCAM Award in Herbal Research (2020).
